GLBT Alliance Endorsements for the November 2018 Election
On August 12, 2018, the GLBT Alliance began our November election endorsement process. Questionnaires were sent to every contested candidate, as well as non-incumbent uncontested candidates who filed to run for local election. Those candidates who returned a questionnaire were considered for recommendation by the GLBT Alliance Steering Committee and endorsement by our full membership. With the recommendation and endorsement process now concluded, we are proud to announce the following endorsements (requiring a vote of 50% +1 by our membership) for the November 6, 2018 election (some of which carry over from endorsements in the June, 2018 primary):

The GLBT Alliance Steering Committee also recommends support for the following measures on the November 2018 ballot:

  • YES on Measure A: Scotts Valley Unified School District Parcel Tax
  • YES on Measure B: Soquel Union Elementary School District  Parcel Tax
  • YES on Measure G: Santa Cruz County Sales Tax
  • YES on Measure H: Santa Cruz County Affordable Housing
  • YES on Measure M: City of Santa Cruz Rent Control/Just Cause
